.net Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, flexible, and self-directed C# .NET Developer with 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining backend systems and databases using C# and the .NET platform.
Suitable candidates are not only competent developers but also have experience with CI and CD processes, unit testing and/or test-driven development and software engineering patterns.
The successful candidate should also enjoy mentoring and working with less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Developing and maintaining Web APIs and backend services using C# and the .NET platform
• Working with ASP .NET Web API, background workers and asynchronous processes
• Using version control systems, e.g. Git
• Working with industry-standard database technologies (MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
• Integrating and/or hosting with AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3) but experience with Azure or GCP equivalent is acceptable
• Maintaining build and deployment scripts as part of a CI/CD ecosystem
• IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, PCI compliance, privacy etc.)
• Mentoring and advising junior colleagues
